OUR STORY

We are Amanda D’Amato and Lauren D’Amato. Cousins who grew up next door to one another, and are sisters in all the ways that count.

We created The Sun and her Moon during summer of 2018, but we officially launched on Instagram in May of 2020.

We each are made up of both light and dark. The name was created from our desire to hold space for each. We seek to honour both aspects within us, and to get to know our hidden selves a little more each day.

We both marvel at the workings of the universe and the hidden energy that swirls around us. Astrology, tarot and numerology were things that peaked our interest several years ago and we have been using these tools as a form of self discovery ever since.

We decided to create and share our birth charts which feature the sun, moon and rising signs of an individual, to help you on your journey of self discovery. A keepsake not only for the information it holds, but also a personal piece to add to your personal space. 

The creation of these charts and this company has weaved its way in and out of our lives since 2018. We hope you enjoy the finished product as much as we have enjoyed the journey of creating them.
